This is a story about Port St. Lucie in Florida. They have experienced an increase in crime lately with the most serious being a shooting at one of the recreational facilities. Here’s a story about how the state of New York is going to install surveillance cameras in public vehicles that transport developmentally disabled people. The reason? There’s been so much abuse of developmentally disabled people riding public transportation that authorities thought this would be a good way to stop it.
