There are models with varifocal lenses. It is dome with a Sony Super HAD CCD chip with an auto iris 4~9mm manual zoom lens built in. There are dip switch controls to adjust the camera to different settings which makes it a very flexible tool.
Size is also a consideration when selecting surveillance products. Dome cameras can be as small as three inches. It is their shape that makes them fit into surroundings so well.
